Jayme Monacelli serves as the Executive Producer of Kansas City's Morning News. She's the first one in in the morning, and says her job is pretty simple: "Think of everything!"
Jayme arrived to Kansas City and KMBZ in August of 2007. She is originally from Kankakee, IL and spent 9 years at WJBC-AM in Bloomington, IL before her move to the "K" side of the business. She has degrees in speech/political science and secondary education from Illinois State University in Normal (yes, the town is called Normal), and has done a lot of work tutoring youth and coaching high school speech teams.
She has won numerous Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards for her work.
