Kara comes to KMBZ from Joplin, Missouri where she served as news director for the flagship NewsTalk station in the market for the last three years. Orginially from the St. Louis metro area, she's thrilled to be back in the big city!

Channel 9 Weatherman Joel Nichols joined the “Kansas City’s Morning News” team in January, 2010. His weather forecast can be heard with “traffic and weather on the 9’s” every morning from 5am-9am on News Radio 980 KMBZ....
