Cauthen had no warning and was absolutely shocked. That's according
to his attorney Charlie Harris. Harris says Cauthen had the presence
of mind to file the paperwork for an administrative hearing before
leaving City Hall. Harris says the fact that the Council voted after
Cauthen filed the paperwork... means the Council is in violation of
the City Charter. Harris said Cauthen is looking at all options right
now, including legal action.
