Independence woman among those injured at Ft. Hood

She was on the phone with her husband of only one month, when he says he heard shots, screaming...then nothing. On the other end, 21-yr old Keara Bono of Independence had been shot in the shoulder while filling out paperwork to deploy to Iraq next week. Keara's father Steve Bono tells KMBZ news that while they were frantic earlier, his thoughts have now turned to other families. Doctor's removed the bullet from Keara's shoulder and say that she will recover from her injuries.
