Children's Mercy Hospital was part of a nationwide study on the H1N1 vaccine and says the conclusion is for young kids, two doses are best. Doctors predict children, 9 years old or younger will need two doses three to four weeks apart. The data indicates doubling up on the vaccine shows the best results in fighting the virus. 583 patients ages 6 months to 17 years were involved in the study, at Children's Mercy.
