Bite Club President Believes Shawnee Mission Deer Hunt Began LastNight

Bite Club President Jason Miller, who heads a group that has been protesting the planned deer hunt in Shawnee Mission Park tells KMBZ he's confident in reports that the process got underway sometime last night. Miller says he continues to be concerned about the secrecy surrounding the hunt. Parks officials refused to comment on whether or not the hunt did, in fact, begin.
