Cerner jobs will mean housing booms in Johnson County

It may be getting a little more crowded in western Johnson County in a few years. With the proposed Cerner office complex development in Village West expected to bring 4,000 jobs to the area, realtors operating in Shawnee and Lenexa are licking their chops. All those workers will need somewhere to live and with highly rated schools, both of the above cities stand to gain much. Analysts expect a big boost in home sales in western Johnson County according to the Johnson County Sun. And of course with more people comes the possibility of more economic growth down the line.
