The tight-end has reportedly asked the Chiefs to explore trade possibilites, saying that he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender.

The New York Giants have shown interest in Gonzalez, but aren't interested in giving up much to replace tight-end Jeremy Shockey, who was traded this offseason.

The NFL trading deadline is this Tuesday.
