Step Out Against Diabetes with KMBZ

Help KMBZ paint the park red September 22nd in a fight to stop diabetes! More than 320,000 people in the Kansas City area have diabetes. Kansas City's own E.J. Becker, Ellen Schenk, Dana Wright and Scott Parks want you to join their teams in the fight to stop diabetes! Join Team E.J. and Ellen or Team Dana & Parks and help your favorite show be the first to reach their fundraising goals! The first ten listeners to donate $100 dollars or more will receive a KMBZ prize pack!

Whether you choose to give your money or your time, KMBZ invites you to join us September 22nd at Theis Park for a 3-mile walk along Brush Creek and through the Plaza. Check-in begins at 7:30am and the walk starts at 9am. Join Team E.J. and Ellen, or Team Dana & Parks, skip the line, and check in at the KMBZ tent to receive your free t-shirt! Enjoy refreshments and a health and wellness fair following the event!

By making a donation, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

With your help, we will fight for a future where a parent does not have to hear that their child has diabetes. A future where an adult does not have to face the uncertain times ahead after receiving a diabetes diagnosis. A future where you will know that you had a part in making this possible.

KMBZ and the American Diabetes Association truly appreciates your support. Together we can Stop Diabetes!
