Valerie Paraso joined KMBZ in the summer of 2011 as a part time morning show producer. Within a couple of months she was promoted to full time anchor/ reporter. Valerie is a recent graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, where she worked as the local host for NPR’s Morning Edition. In college Valerie was very active in television and newspaper as well. In her free time she takes care of her elderly Grandfather, Donnie. She can be found most weekends at the Shawnee Dog Park with her son, an adorable Shi Chon named Baker.
