At Tuesday night’s Presidential Press Conference, NBC’s Chuck Todd asked if American’s should be asked to “sacrifice”.  The President responded American’s are all ready making sacrifices by virtue of making do in a down economy.

As Team Obama’s staunch reaction to the AIG bonuses continues to backfire, there are conflicting press accounts over the roll of Senator Chris Dodd.  Some accounts say he tampered with an Amendment to last month's Stimulus Package that limited contractual bonuses to firms receiving TARP funds while Dodd himself claims his own attempt to limit bonuses got modified without his knowing it. 

The staff of the S&P Show will now call it a day and let everyone else figure out what’s going on...   

Which is worse; AIG handing out millions of dollars in executive bonuses despite having received TARP funds…or populist minded Democrats calling for retribution against AIG employees for accepting their contractually bound bonus money????????????
