Kansas State gets another crack at Kansas in a semifinal game at the Big 12 Championship at Sprint Center in Kansas City.

The Jayhawks won both regular season matchups, 73-72 in Lawrence, 70-56 in Manhattan.

The Wildcats needed overtime against Texas Christian to advance.

Kansas State's Barry Brown scored the go-ahead layup with 11.2 seconds left in overtime, and Alex Robinson missed a pair of foul shots at the other end for TCU, allowing the Wildcats to escape with a 66-64 victory on Thursday. The Horned Frogs had forced overtime on Desmond Bane's buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

The Jayhawks got revenge against Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals.

Malik Newman scored a career-high 30 points, Svi Mykhailiuk added 13 and ninth-ranked Kansas beat the Cowboys 82-68. The Jayhawks were swept by Oklahoma State in the regular season. Jeffrey Carroll had points to lead OSU.

Top-seeded Kansas takes on No. 4 Kansas State at 6 p.m. Friday. In the other half of the bracket No. 2 Texas Tech plays No. 3 West Virginia with a scheduled tip-off at 8 p.m.
