Federal officials offer reward to help capture Platte Co. fugitive
James Osler (left) is accused in a robbery-related shooting
The U.S. Marshals Service is still offering a reward of $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a shooting suspect who was still on the run.
James Osler and Requon Dillard are accused of shooting an elderly Platte County man during an armed robbery back in February.
Dillard was captured Friday near Troost and Meyer in Kansas City. He was handed over to Platte County authorities.
Authorities believe James "Dimps" Osler (on left in photo) may still be receiving assistance from family or friends.
Osler is described as about six feet tall and thin with multiple tattoos on his hands.
Osler's record includes charges of possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. Police suspect him of selling narcotics.
The U.S. Marshals Service says Osler should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information concerning Osler is encouraged to contact Deputy U.S. Marshal Bryan Guthrie at (816) 560-0817.
