'Buy MO' campaign launches, encourages buying Missouri-made products

Kansas City, MO - From coffee to salad dressing - if it's made in Missouri, buy it! That's the aim of a new "Buy Missouri" campaign.

Missouri Lt. Gov. Mike Parsons went on a five-city tour to launch the new campaign touting local, Missouri-made products.

The Kansas City stop on the tour was at The Roasterie, a coffee-roasting company headquartered on KC's Westside. 

The Roasterie began in 1993, and now employs dozens and generates millions annually in sales.

Roasterie founder Danny O'Neill was part of the announcement of the Buy MO campaign, and said locally-owned businesses make up the fabric of a community, provide jobs, and supports local schools.
