(KMBZ-AM) The Jackson County Sheriff is investigating a possible murder in an unincorporated portion of Jackson County this weekend.
Sunday morning just before 7, Jackson County deputies found a dead female inside residence at 501 South Sunny Nook School Road. The woman had obvious signs of trauma, but the case is still under investigation. Two young children were removed from the house, which is near Buckner, Missouri. Neither children were injured and both are now with relatives.
A suspect related to the case is in custody. No additional suspects are known.
