Originally from the St. Louis area, Kara comes to KMBZ from Joplin, Missouri where she served as news director for the flagship NewsTalk station in the market.
Kara has two bachelor's degrees from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana (its literally in the middle of a cornfield, no joke); one in Political Science and a second in Mass Communications.
Kara is an avid reader, wine drinker, shoe shopper and the proud mama to two kitties, named Kididdle and Mia.
