Jennifer's love for the weather comes from where she grew up in her middle school days. Living in Florida at the time, she would get excited about hurricanes, and decided that she may want to make a career of this weather stuff!
Although a native of Beech Grove, Indiana, Jennifer grew up in Tennessee, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University. Jennifer was first heard as a radio talent on The Weather Channel Radio Network in September 1997. She worked morning drive time for three years before leaving the department to work in the Weather Channel's Latin America division as product coordinator. After a two-year stint with Latin America, Jennifer returned in early 2003 and currently works afternoon driving servicing clients such as WBAP in Dallas and WGKA in Atlanta.
In 2012, Jennifer left the Weather Channel, and directed her energies to Kansas City as Staff Meteorologist.
Jennifer has other interests, too. She plays tennis and golf. She is active with church, playing keyboards on the praise team. And a HUGE Penn State Football fan!! GO LIONS!!
