Jeff Bell comes to 980 KMBZ following a stint at the anchor desk at WIBW Radio in Topeka. During his time in the capital city of Kansas, Jeff co-anchored an award-winning news-talk show, spent long hours on the legislative beat at the statehouse and wrote and produced the Capital Insight segment for the Topeka Capital-Journal. Before that, Jeff spent a short time on the air in Kansas City and was News Director of KKOW Radio in Pittsburg. He has been honored on several occasions by the Associated Press and the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. Jeff and his wife Mindy live in Shawnee.
