Chilling details emerge in Jackson County rape; Suspect charged

Disturbing details released after a Jackson County man is charged with holding captive and repeatedly raping a woman over the weekend. 49-year-old Jerry Link, of Lone Jack faces several charges including rape, forcible sodomy and kidnapping. Link was arrested Monday after a woman told police he'd kidnapped her and held her hostage for more than two days. Court records indicate Link raped the woman repeatedly, held her at gunpoint...dragged her by her hair when she tried to escape. Link...took the woman home Monday afternoon. That's when she called police.
